Andrew Gwin is our New President

We would like to take a moment to let everyone know that after three years of service as President of Compassionate Oregon, Anthony Taylor has stepped away from his role as president to focus his attention on the legislature and as a member of Oregon’s Cannabis Commission. He will remain the Legislative Liaison for Compassionate Oregon.

The board has elected by unanimous vote to elect Andrew Gwin as the new president. We are pleased he has taken the position.

Andrew was involved with SSDP Chemeketa College and has been working with Anthony to map out and implement our vision for Oregon’s medical Cannabis patients.

We look forward to many great ideas and new energy for growing not just Compassionate Oregon bit medical patients too.

Welcome Andrew.

About Anthony Taylor

Anthony Taylor is a long time activist in the marijuana reform movement. He was responsible for changes to the initiative process and has been a persistent voice in Salem for marijuana reform. His recent efforts led to the addition of PTSD to the list of qualifying conditions for the use of medical marijuana as well as sentencing reform including the creation of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and hashish, a long overdue change in Oregon statute.
